Role Overview and Objectives:
Join a team focused on solving the Financial Services industry’s toughest challenges across operations, risk, compliance, technology and legal.
Senior Directors are responsible for providing superior levels of client service. You will lead teams and projects of all sizes and complexities working directly with senior level executives from lines of business, operations, risk, compliance, technology and legal. Senior Directors collaborate with other Ankura leaders to support business development and administrative activities, mentor and train staff and support Ankura corporate development.
This role provides you with an opportunity to continue to grow your career as a trusted advisor to the most important Financial Services companies in the world. You will develop new relationships with industry professionals, inside and outside counsel, and other Ankura leaders. You will have the opportunity to solve complex issues across different functional areas including operations, risk, compliance, technology, finance and other areas. You will join a growing team focused on making a strong positive impact on our clients. Preferred locations include New York, Chicago, Washington, DC, Boston and Philadelphia.
Ideal Candidate Background:
Demonstrated history of providing exceptional client service for Financial Services clients
Ability to work in a dynamic professional services environment
Experience developing client deliverables including preparing presentations, reports and other outputs
Experience leading consulting projects of all sizes and complexities.
Ability to chain link sales opportunities
Excited about growing professional network and supporting business development activities
Demonstrated exceptional leadership capabilities through mentorship and the development of colleagues.
Capacity to contribute meaningfully to practice growth through business development efforts by acquiring new clients and developing new consulting opportunities.
Demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
Strong intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills
Over 8 years of consulting experience
Highly proficient in Microsoft product suite
Dedication to taking personal ownership of work product and consistently meeting internal and external client deadlines and high-performance expectations
Excellent collaboration and proactive communication skills: ability to work with client, colleagues, and other stakeholders to define, influence, and drive complex analytical work
Strong aptitude in program/project management, change management, conducting current and future state assessments, business and data analysis, critical thinking, innovation, report writing, creating roadmaps, process improvement/efficiency, automation and the impacts on people process and technology.
