Senior Director, Head of Product Growth – Investment Data Management

The charter of the product organization is to drive business growth via client driven product innovation. The team does that by analyzing key markets, identifying client problems that we can solve uniquely and building products to deliver value. The growth leader of products owns the market and opportunity analysis, product investment strategy, go to market strategy and meeting annual business growth targets. They collaborate closely with product management, marketing, sales, and client services teams to achieve their goals.

We are looking for a high energy leader who drives growth in investment data management products in Asset Management and Asset Owner industries. This role is a mix of strategy (20%) and hands-on execution (80%).

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct market analysis for key product investment areas such as investment data hub and client reporting to identify growth opportunities, market size (TAM/SAM), center of target (ideal customer profile), competitors and alternative providersBuild and iterate quarterly on business plan for building products based on key differentiation pillars. Build the 3-year product strategy and long-term roadmapDevelop a build/buy/partner plan and establish revenue and resourcing plansWork with product management team to oversee product buildout and guide priorities on a quarterly basisBuild the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy across pricing and packaging, marketing strategy and sales enablement. Work closely with Product Marketing to build messaging, positioning, and collateral.Represent Clearwater products at conferences, advisory boards, and pitch at key client meetings alongside sales teamsConduct weekly execution reviews across pre-sales, SDR/BDRs, marketing and other GTM personnel to calibrate execution tacticsPresent monthly and Quarterly business reviews to key members of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

Qualifications:

Track record or demonstrated ability to build and grow new product lines as businesses from 0 to double digit $M or growth of existing business over 3 – 5 years.Good knowledge of the Asset management and Asset Owner market and in particular investment operations and data management technologiesExperience with building, deploying or selling client reporting solutions to Asset Managers is required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Stage and Executive presence.Desire and ability to drive execution – take ownership of driving excellence in operational execution across team.Collaborative approach with ability to take guidance and feedback from multiple ELT members across Sales, Products, Marketing and Operations.B.A in Finance or B.S in a technical degree is highly desirable. MBA is a plus.compensation DOE $200,000 - $300,000 + bonus + RSU’s
