Job Description

As the Senior Director, Indirect Sourcing, you will play a key role in guiding and executing Fortune Brands Innovations' indirect sourcing strategy, ensuring the thoughtful and strategic procurement of goods and services across multiple brands ($800-900M spend).You will build and nurture a high-performing team, foster strong supplier relationships, and partner with key stakeholders to develop collaborative sourcing initiatives that drive shared success.

This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule, reporting into the Deerfield, IL office Tuesday-Wednesday with the option to work remotely on Monday & Friday. 

What You Will Be Doing:

Lead and support sourcing strategies that create efficiency, foster trust, and drive long-term value.Develop and cultivate a collaborative sourcing structure, ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterprise goals.Create and guide an inclusive corporate indirect spend plan, optimizing cost while strengthening supplier partnerships.Consider and analyze market trends and industry insights, prioritizing initiatives that encourage long-term, sustainable success.Build strong, trusting relationships with suppliers, leading negotiations that emphasize cooperation, fairness, and shared goals.Provide guidance and mentorship on supplier negotiations and partnership development, ensuring sustainable, people-centered outcomes.Support and nurture a high-performing team, creating opportunities for growth and development while fostering a warm and inclusive work environment.Encourage collaboration in supplier selection and preferred vendor programs, ensuring informed and cooperative decision-making.Measure and track success, ensuring sourcing strategies align with compliance, risk management, and overall business goals.Develop and implement sourcing policies and best practices, promoting shared responsibility, accountability, and trust across teams.

Qualifications10+ years of sourcing leadership experience5+ years managing indirect procurement and strategic sourcing.Proven expertise in building strong supplier relationships, negotiating collaborative partnerships, and leading procurement initiatives.Demonstrated ability to connect market insights with sourcing strategies, ensuring sustainable and thoughtful solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBAExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP.Familiarity with Agile business methodologies.

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $159,000 USD - $262,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
