Senior Director, Internal Communications

As a Senior Director, Internal Communications on our Knowledge Systems team, you will be responsible for owning and taking our internal communications capability to the next level.  You will set the vision for internal communications and carry out building the strategy and team to ensure Stand Together’s growing community of 1,300+ employees stay informed, inspired, engaged, and equipped with the knowledge to advance our vision. Specifically, you will work closely with other leaders to design internal communication campaigns that communicate Stand Together’s principles, vision, and priorities.  You will use inspirational storytelling to illustrate Stand Together’s impact, create content that demonstrates Stand Together’s principles in action, and develop resources to equip staff to be more effective.  How You Will ContributeWork directly with business leaders/partners to identify needs, objectives, and strategies to create effective and meaningful communication campaigns and narratives that connect all employees across the Stand Together community with our shared vision and strategies. Lead the Internal Communications capability, aligning goals to functional and organizational priorities, overseeing the dynamic team that brings it to life and driving the transformation of internal communications to a center of excellence. Define internal audience segments and managing efficient and effective cascades of knowledge throughout that structure. Oversee a content calendar to be utilized across the Stand Together community.  Build strong internal processes to ensure repeatable and reliable execution of the strategy. Partner with cross-functional teams (executive positioning, marketing, events, talent, etc.) to bring relevant expertise and capabilities into the Internal Communications strategy. Experiment with, measure, manage, and continually improve communication tools and tactics for maximum effectiveness.
