We are seeking a dynamic International Tax leader to join our Finance team to focus on a broad array of international tax issues including operational tax planning, tax accounting, compliance and audit and align themselves with the business units. Tax projects will primarily focus on US International tax issues plus some coordination with local foreign offices. This position will collaborate with multiple levels of tax professionals, cross functional teams, finance leadership and business units. Managing and mentoring of a team of two direct reports and five indirect reports.
What you'll be doing:
Take the lead on all International tax operational planning projects. Extensive coordination with the tax reporting group and compliance group from an international perspective. Close alignment with the strategic tax planning team, transfer pricing, and indirect tax.
High level of visibility with business units and close teaming on their operations and how it impacts tax.
Interface extensively with outside advisors on projects; evaluate the effectiveness of those relationships.
Mentor, manage, and coordinate training for International Tax team
When requested, serve as the representative on tax and multidisciplinary committees regarding large projects.
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting,
15+ overall years corporate income tax experience in Big 4 public accounting or corporate in-house.
10+ years US International tax experience within a multi-national corporation Tax department or servicing large publicly traded clients with a complicated global structure.
5+ years of people management experience.
Experience with both operational and transactional research and planning, as well as oversight of US International tax compliance, tax provisions and controversy.
A take-charge individual with strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.
Great teammate who is flexible, creative and inquisitive.
Ability to interface effectively with finance leadership, business units and cross functional teams.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Prefer strong experience with cross border hardware manufacturers and working with indirect/customs issues related to cross-border movement of goods.
Advanced degree or equivalent experience and CPA highly preferred

The base salary range is 304,000 USD - 460,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
