Position Summary:
Milacron is looking for a Senior Director, IT to join our team in Batavia, OH. As the Senior Director, IT, you will be at the helm of our technology strategy and execution, overseeing both business and engineering systems. You will play a pivotal role in enabling digital transformation initiatives, including RPA, digital thread, and IIoT, to propel the company towards new heights of innovation and efficiency. You will be responsible for supporting both internal systems and customer-facing systems, ensuring that IT is a key strategic enabler for the business.
Work You’ll Do:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company’s business goals.
Partner with business leaders to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that drive growth and productivity.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the President of the Operating Company and the CIO of the Parent Company on all IT matters.
Digital Transformation:
Partner with business to enable digital transformation journey, focusing on automation, digital thread, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) implementations.
Champion the adoption of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Ensure seamless integration of digital technologies across all global operations.
Systems Management:
Oversee the management and optimization of critical business systems including JD Edwards (JDE), Windchill PLM, and Salesforce CRM.
Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of all IT systems to support business operations globally.
Manage and support both internal systems and customer-facing systems to ensure they meet business needs.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the IT department.
Collaboration and Partnership:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technology-enabled business transformation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure IT initiatives are aligned with business needs.
Technology Enablement:
Identify emerging technologies and trends to keep the company at the forefront of industry advancements.
Drive the adoption of best practices and standards in IT operations and development.

The Senior Director, IT reports to the President of Milacron and CIO of Hillenbrand.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing global IT operations in a matrix environment
Extensive experience with engineering systems, business systems, and development in a manufacturing environment
Expertise in enabling digital transformation initiatives, including RPA, digital thread, and IIoT
Strong knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE), PLM, and Salesforce CRM
Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree
