ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: The Senior Director, Learning & Leader Institute is responsible for the strategy and portfolio of Learning & Leader Institute programs, processes and resources that will enable our leaders and associates to deliver on the Ascension Strategic Plan. The Senior Director provides vision and direction for the Learning & Leader Institute and key strategic development initiatives that are informed by Ascension’s talent strategy. Partners strategically with Organizational Effectiveness, Talent and Culture to understand, define and develop solutions to ensure the readiness of Ascension’s workforce.
Responsibilities:
Develops meaningful and innovative programs and solutions consistent with our culture, in support of and informed by our leadership planning process and succession planning effortsLeads the design of innovative and engaging tools, programs, and curriculum that invest in our associate’ career progression, personal well-being, developmental growth, and overall experience within AscensionEnsures a business aligned curriculum for the Learning & Leader Institute, including strategy to build or buy relevant products and ensure solutions are provided to business partners in a timely mannerPartners with Talent planning to implement a robust process and appropriate development solutions to improve our leadership bench strength and ensure we have “ready now” leadership candidates to support the future of AscensionPromotes awareness, ensure access, drives appropriate utilization, and measures the effectiveness and impact of offerings through the Learning & Leader InstituteOversees instructional design, facilitation and delivery, and measurement of learning solutions across AscensionResponsible for the learning experience vision and strategy, stays ahead of industry trends, and brings innovative technology and content solutions for consideration, fully aligned with the desired associate experience at AscensionEnsures there are processes and structures in place to deliver results on time, within budget and aligned to Ascension’s strategy; provides a clear line of sight to key stakeholders on process and progress of full solutionsCollaborates with leaders and HR teams to mitigate risks, barriers and challenges; uses feedback to develop and evolve content to educate and ensure necessary skill and competency development of the Ascension workforceRequirementsEducation:
High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experiencerequired, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's
degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years
