Senior Director, Legal, Compliance, and Risk Enterprise Business Services

Your Impact as a Senior Director, Legal, Compliance and Risk Enterprise Business Services As the Senior Director, Legal, Compliance and Risk Enterprise Business Services, you will collaborate across various groups, geographies, and functions to optimize legal, compliance and risk processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and work with different departments to streamline operations. Job Responsibilities: Leading a global team of individuals and providing direction, guidance to achieve a common goal. Strategy Alignment and Service Delivery Model + Align the process objectives with the overall organizational strategy and goals. + Collaborate with critical team members, such as senior executives, department heads, and functional leaders, to learn their needs and ensure that the processes support their strategic priorities. + Develop an Enterprise Business Services Operating Model for Legal, Compliance and Risk which optimizes and streamlines processes. + Combine organizational goals, data, and Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics) to identify and measure optimization opportunities and remove barriers that enable the businesses to make better data-driven decisions. Process Design and Implementation + Conduct needs assessment interviews and collect data to understand individual department challenges and optimization goals. + Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization recommendations. + Collaborate with partners to design and implement optimized processes, technology, and location strategy. + Measure results, and report progress to partners. Legal, Compliance and Risk Enterprise Service Delivery (Centers of Excellence) + Evaluate the performance and business services against key performance indicators (critical metrics) and making improvements as needed. + Enable adoption of business processes across various geographies. + Supervise performance of processes to ensure consistency in delivery. + Root cause issues and develop recommendations for improvement. + Effectively leading resources, including budget, staff, and technology to optimize service delivery, as required. + Identifying and mitigating risks associated with business services to ensure continuity and resilience. + Being responsible for relationship with external vendors and service providers to ensure flawless service delivery. + Ensuring that business services follow relevant regulations, standards, and policies. + Implementing processes for ongoing improvement of business services, adapting to changing business environments and technologies. + Supporting coordination of data to provide insights. Stakeholder Management + Collaborate with collaborators at various levels across the firm to understand their process requirements and gather feedback. + Engage with team members to drive process adoption, set expectations, and communicate process changes or updates. + Effectively communicating with all levels of the organization to relay information about business service strategies, changes, and improvements. + Hold business reviews to discuss current performance, issues and/or changing requirements. Implement high impact priorities. + Collaborate across the organization to synthesize and develop long-term capabilities, investments, and supporting organizational structure. + Align on critical priorities needed to enable near-term transformation initiatives to standardize, centralize and enable automation for business processes to better serve our clients and colleagues. + Ensure all processes meet compliance and regulatory requirements. + Develop an environment of continuous process improvement. + Develop high performing teams. Skills and experience that will lead to success Required Experience: + demonstrated ability in a leadership role. + Extensive legal, compliance or risk experience Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend effective solutions. + Proven success in driving process improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results. + Experience with Shared Operations and leading large, teams with varied strengths. + Proficiency in coordinating and collaborating with others. + Strong project management and change leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. + Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. + Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with team members at all levels. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $200,000 to $250,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in Aon’s annual incentive plans in addition to base salary. The amount of any incentives varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
