As the Senior Director of Marketing Product Management, you will lead the strategic transformation of our marketing technology stack, defining and driving the Martech and Adtech strategy, delivering innovative, data-driven, and connected digital solutions that power the future of marketing. What you will be doing
As the single-threaded leader for Marketing Product Management, you will:
Define and execute the Martech and Adtech vision and strategy, creating a multi-year roadmap that delivers scalable, high-impact digital solutions. Drive enterprise-wide alignment, collaborating with executive leadership across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Data Science to accelerate our digital marketing transformation. Lead and scale a high-performing team of product managers and UX designers, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and excellence. Enhance personalization capabilities, ensuring our marketing stack supports one-to-one, data-driven customer engagement at scale. Oversee marketing product development and integration, ensuring seamless connections across eCommerce, digital experience, Albertsons Media Collective, and advertising technology. Influence business strategy, leveraging data and insights to optimize marketing efficiency, reduce acquisition costs, and drive customer lifetime value. As a senior leader, you will provide thought leadership to Senior Leadership and C-Suite, as well as work autonomously, making bold, strategic decisions while ensuring cross-functional alignment across multiple teams led by VP-level and senior stakeholders.The position will be in Pleasanton, CA, or one of our corporate offices.
Main responsibilities
Develop and lead product strategy for marketing and advertising technology, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. Own the full product lifecycle, from strategy and conception to delivery and continuous optimization. Create and manage a high-impact product roadmap, prioritizing innovations that enhance customer experience and business performance. Scale and optimize marketing efforts by developing or integrating best-in-class tools for campaign management, personalization, customer data, digital asset management, and measurement. Use data-driven insights to define KPIs, track success, and continuously refine product strategies based on business performance. Champion innovation, identifying new opportunities and disruptive trends in Martech and Adtech that position us ahead of the competition. Lead cross-functional partnerships, ensuring seamless collaboration between IT, Marketing, Product, Operations, and external vendors. Foster strong relationships with external partners and technology providers to expand marketing capabilities and maximize return on investment.The salary range is $218,000.00 to $297,000.00. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay/Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually) bereavement pay and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.

15+ years of experience in Marketing, Product, or Technology, with 8+ years in eCommerce, Retail, or Platform Product Management. 8+ years of senior leadership experience, driving enterprise-wide digital marketing and product strategy. Deep expertise in Martech and Adtech, including customer data platforms (CDP), personalization engines, and marketing automation tools, desired but not required. Track record of leading high-scale digital transformations, launching complex products and platforms at scale. Strong leadership experience, with 10+ years of managing and mentoring high-performing teams in a technology-driven environment.Why Join Us?
