Position Summary

This leader will set and drive JJ Innovative Medicine North America’s executive thought leadership and employee communications and center of excellence for agile internal communications in support of our business strategy. Leading a team of best-in-class executive, digital, event and colleague communicators, this leader will plan and implement an integrated communications strategy supporting the largest business unit in JJ Innovative Medicine. This role will build, cultivate and lead the team driving understanding, alignment, and engagement with JJ core priorities, within a diverse and inclusive environment, across the company’s 5,000 internal employees and key external stakeholders. This leader will partner closely with the VP, CPA IM Americas, the Innovative Medicine North American Leadership Team (NALT), including the Company Group Chair, and Communications Public Affairs leaders throughout JJ at the Enterprise and Sector level.

ResponsibilitiesNA Communication Public Affairs Leadership

Assume responsibility, with their colleagues, for the team’s overall governance, strategic alignment, performance and development.

Agile Organizational Communications

Leading, developing and executing internal communication campaigns to engage employees, ensuring alignment with our North America and global strategy and company reputation, in a demonstrable and measurable way. Includes ultimate oversight of internal communications channels, enterprise wide change communications programs; development and execution of strategic internal events including Town Halls, Enterprise Awards, and other leadership events; as well as providing counsel on NALT priority initiatives, Credo-in-Action / and develops creative approaches to employee engagement, diversity and inclusion efforts, and Brand Ambassador initiatives. Will also lead the transformation of our communications approach, in partnership with IM CPA leadership, by sharpening our internal communications are focused, aligned and agile.

Executive Communications

Collaborate with the Vice President of Communication and Public Affairs, and others on the IM CPA Leadership Team and the NALT on the development and execution of a communications strategy and framework for JJ IM NA, and the roles of the Company Group Chairman and other senior NALT members on their internal and external leadership positioning to advance the strategy. This will include identifying appropriate industry presentation opportunities to address key issues in our industry and society at large, developing talking points, speeches, and slides. The role will work in close partnership with senior leaders to gather and understand appropriate information/stories. You will ensure the seamless coordination of executive thought leadership throughout JJ IM to ensure our external presence supports our business objectives and ability to deliver for the patients we serve.

Digital Social Communications

Coordinate the creation and execution of creative content for use across the company’s social and digital platforms to drive our agenda. Managing the role will have a team and agency support to develop and drive the content via SEO and other means to ensure appropriate and compliant reach of our messaging among key stakeholder sets.

The base pay range for this position is USD $163,000 - $282,900.

Bonus

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
