The Organization Activation Lead will play a crucial role in operationalizing our existing people strategies, ensuring they are practical, aligned, and effectively integrated as part of our Global modernization and Transformation Programs. This leader will bring to life the strategies developed by our Modernization programs, making them accessible and actionable to drive our transformation modernization programs. By leading and integrating capabilities, promoting connected ways of working, and embodying our corporate values, the Organization Activation Lead will support key stakeholders, including the Function People Partner, the Deployment Lead, Modernization Transformation Leadership, as well as Function executives in driving our transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Operationalize People Strategies:Lead the effective activation of the future state organization, and management of the changes related to people within the Mod Program through all deployment waves and organizational shifts.Implement People strategies in a way that resonates with our teams and reflects our commitment to putting people first.Align and coordinate initiatives across Organization Activation subtowers (Learning & Development, Communications, Change Management, Organization Design, and Workforce Transition).Leverage materials and approaches from Global COEs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management), and the Modernization programs, adapting them to function-specific needs to drive transformation outcomes.Enroll and Activate “Business as Usual” teams from across the Global People organization to deliver against transformation objectives as appropriate.Ensure that strategies are adapted to be practical and effective for different departments while maintaining overall alignment.Lead and Integrate Capabilities:Foster a collaborative culture by uniting diverse teams, collaborating across vendor partners, different teams within McDonald’s to work cohesively.Promote horizontal integration across departments to enhance efficiency and innovation and create simplicity out of complexity.Orchestrate and ensure connectivity across teams within the functional modernization program, inclusive of the Transformation Management Office Leadership, PMO, and VRO, and leaders of other towers and capabilities within the GBS transformation program.Encourage open communication and teamwork, reflecting our values of inclusion and collaboration.Support Key Stakeholders:Serve as a strategic partner to People Partners, Market CPOs, Deployment Leadership and Modernization Transformation Leadership in the function.Provide expertise and guidance to ensure people strategies align with transformation objectives.Influence and advise leaders on best practices, embodying integrity and transparency.Enhance Organizational Alignment:Ensure all people-related activities support McDonald's mission and values.Coordinate efforts to maintain consistency and alignment across various programs and initiatives; working closely with the Global Business Services Transformation office.Promote behaviors that reflect our commitment to serving customers, supporting our people, and contributing to our communities.Simplify Processes:Translate complex strategies and concepts into clear, understandable actions for employees at all levels and help bring the transformation to life.Develop effective communication plans to explain initiatives and changes.Provide training and support to ensure successful adoption of new practices.Benefits eligible: Yes

The expected salary range for this role is $193,610-$251,690 per year
