What will you be doing?
Lead all aspects of the end-to-end delivery of streaming projects, ensuring timely execution against the project roadmap
Handle product prioritisation process in collaboration with streaming product director and other 5 stakeholders
Working closely with business analysis lead oversee the project intake process. Ensuring all initiatives are properly refined and assess before entering the delivery pipeline
Lead a team of project managers and business analysts and ensure accountability for delivery within the streaming team
Establish and refine project governance frameworks across the streaming team.
Drive quarterly planning cycles with internal and external teams
Champion process improvements, identifying areas for increased efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery
Communicate progress and any associated issues/risks regularly to senior leadership teams across Paramount
Act as the primary point of contact for third-party development vendors and ensure accurate resource planning and forecasting
Be an Ambassador for 5 streaming both internally and externally
Partner with teams across Paramount where initiatives require shared services for 5 streaming platform
Handle an annual budget of £10M+ ensuring accurate allocation of funds and resources across projects
Define and track streaming team OKRs (Objective Key Results)
Chip in to and help shape the wider digital/non-linear strategy with the 5 business
What are we looking for?
5-10 years' experience in leading internal delivery teams and external development vendors, ensuring high performance.
Build and maintain strong relationship with external platform partners (ETV, Amazon, Youview, Sky) and internal 5 leads.
Track record of delivering process improvements across teams to improve efficiency
Experience of leading technical programmes of work across globally distributed teams
Management of budgets over £10M
Experience of working with agile delivery frameworks and quarterly planning methodologies
Skilled in quickly evaluating options, influencing partners, and driving swift resolutions.
First class written and verbal communication skills at all organisational levels
Strong partner management skills to communicate risks, issues and mitigation options.
You will be able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Intermediate level excel skills
Comfortable using standard planning and collaboration tools (Smartsheet, Asana, JIRA, Confluence)
Desirable
Extensive experience in the broadcast and media sector
Strong understanding of streaming technology and content distribution
Project management qualification
