Senior Director of Revenue Operations
The Senior Director of Revenue Operations is a strategic leader who will oversee the end-to-end revenue generation process within the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that all revenue-driving departments are aligned, efficient, and operating in a manner that supports the company’s overall growth objectives. These include quota setting and forecasting, sales process optimization, sales compensation design and administration and a Deal Desk function that manages pricing and ROI for complex deals. This individual will work closely with many internal stakeholders including Marketing, Finance, HR, Customer Success and the Business Development team to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the sales organization.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue operations strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives Own sales forecasting, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies Responsible for a Deal Desk that provides sales support on larger and complex sales deals concerning pricing and ROI Develops and administers the sales incentive compensation programs Plays a pivotal part during the integration of acquisitions in regard to data, systems, salesforce and compensation integration Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing revenue operations team including sales compensation and deal deskWhat You'll Bring:
10-12+ years of Revenue/Sales Operations or sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment with at least 5+ years in a leadership position. Proven track record of successfully managing a team of minimum 3 direct reports Experience in quota setting, territory design, managing a sales forecast, compensation design and Deal Desk. Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives Strong systems skills with focus on Salesforce.com and Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelors degree from an accredited institution preferredThe base salary for this position is $200,000- $230,000.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
