As the Senior Director of Risk Management, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company's risk strategy! In this dynamic position, you will identify and analyze risks across our global insurance programs, including Property, Casualty, D&O, and more. You will engage with international insurance markets to negotiate optimal coverage and pricing, ensuring the protection of our assets and earnings. With responsibilities that span from developing innovative risk financing strategies to managing our Bermuda-based captive insurance company with over $350 million in assets, you will have the opportunity to implement our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and present vital insights to our senior leadership and Board of Directors, positioning risk management as a competitive advantage. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Risk Management: Strategically identify exposures, analyze and evaluate risks, and oversee the placement of the Company’s global insurance programs, including Property, Casualty, Excess, D&O, Trade Credit, Marine and Aviation programs.
Optimize Insurance Coverage: Engage with worldwide insurance markets to secure optimal structure and pricing for insurance coverage.
Safeguard Company Assets: Formulate and recommend alternative retention levels, limits, and coverage to safeguard the company’s assets and earnings.
Strategic Risk Financing: Recommend risk financing alternatives, including management of the company’s Bermuda-based captive insurance company.
Leverage Risk: Benchmark organizational metrics against industry standards to leverage risk as a competitive advantage.
Cost Allocation: Design and implement methodologies to accurately allocate the total cost of risk to global business units. Lead the company’s risk management program budget focusing on efficiency and effectiveness and develop comprehensive cost containment strategies.
Enterprise Risk Management: Develop, implement and manage a formal corporate-wide Enterprise Risk Management program.
Contract Management: Review insurance provisions of general contracts, leases, customer and vendor agreements to ensure compliance with company’s overall risk management strategy
Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with third-party service providers including insurers, brokers, and actuaries.
Leadership: Drives a positive employee experience through leadership by way of employee development and coaching.
WHAT WE’RE SEEKING:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field and 12+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Insurance/Risk Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
5+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with executive leadership.
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Energized by collaboration through travel both domestically and internationally. (30% of the time)
OTHER SKILLS THAT MAKE YOU STAND OUT:
ARM (Associate Risk Management) designation is preferred
