You are:

You are a multifaceted Senior Information Security Executive and Subject Matter Expert (SME) who can support our Information Security architecture and provide infrastructure expertise as we work to implement Pitney Bowes’ Enterprise Cloud Security Strategy. You are to collaborate closely while interfacing a great deal with our business and technical teams. You will assist with the implementation of required Cloud Security policy, controls, and automation. As the Senior Director, you are an individual who will ensure that our organization meets & exceeds today’s technological standards while acting as a key contributor to Pitney Bowes’ Infrastructure for the next 100 years.
This role will ultimately serve as a liaison between Corporate Security management on Cloud architectures along with computing that will be hosted and/or operated by Pitney Bowes resources. This position will report into the Chief Information Security Officer and sit fulltime in our Shelton, CT office.

You will:
• Provide IT Infrastructure Security expertise to organization, including knowledge of Data integrity and general Information Security.
• Partner as a technical leader and subject matter expert in IT Security Infrastructure and data center transformation to support the on-going needs of the company in accordance with the IT Strategic plan led by IT Infrastructure Operations leadership.
• Implement / execute an enterprise-wide information security architecture that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company’s data.
• Execute the security and maintenance needs of the Enterprise Network and Cloud Blueprint
• Work closely with PBI Information Security Officer and the Director of Security Operations as well as the Vice President of IT Infrastructure Operations to understand on-going expectations and needs of the company security needs.
• Support transition to hybrid infrastructure.
• Drive problem investigation and resolution as required.
• Manage and mentor IT staff supporting infrastructure activities for PBI global offices.
• Maintains and enforces service level agreement.
• Implements and maintains IT security systems based on industry best practices.
• Ensure technology platform availability compliance to Service Level Agreements.
• Evaluate the efficiency of Security controls within the IT and Engineering organizations
• Assist internal or external auditors in compliance reviews.
• Prepare management reports regarding compliance operations and progress.
• Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes.


 

Your background:

As a Sr. Director, Security Architecture you have:

Must have prior work experience as a Cloud Architect in AWS, Azure, and/or Hybrid Cloud Environments.

10+ years of IT/Engineering Infrastructure experience with leading on-site and offshore teams in all aspects of infrastructure engineering with high focus driving ISO/Security deliverables.

Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.

Experience with Infrastructure/Data center transformation to hybrid/cloud.

Data Centers – on premise, co-located and on Cloud (AWS). Experience with cloud infrastructure transition.

Knowledge of Cisco network elements and Servers / VMs & Infrastructure topology.

Ability to use technology to create new capabilities across the organization required.

Experience with improving Engineering Labs and establishing standards.

Ability to provide effective and timely solutions for internal customers while managing costs and risks required.

Ability to communicate technology solutions in business terms required.

Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure to enforce policies and reduce risk, they need the ability to persuade others to adhere to standards.

Ability to manage complex outsourced services required.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related discipline preferred.

Experience in Agile methodology is preferred. Any Infrastructure related certifications are plus.
