Senior Director, Security Operations

ADP is hiring a Sr. Director, Security Operations

 

The Senior Director, Security Operations will support the Vice President of Converged Security Services (CSS) in managing and coordinating a diverse range of security functions, including physical security, corporate investigations, digital forensics, travel security, event and executive protection, business continuity, security investment projects, and crisis management. The Senior Director will act as a strategic and operational leader, providing critical support to ensure the effective and efficient operation of Converged Security Services. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, self-motivated, and strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Planning and Execution:

Assist the Vice President of CSS in planning and implementing strategic initiatives. Coordinate and oversee the execution of security projects and initiatives. Monitor progress and provide updates on key performance metrics.

 

Operational Support:

Manage the daily operations of Converged Security Services which includes a diverse set of security domains including Physical security, digital forensics, corporate investigations, technical countermeasures, eDiscovery, executive and event protection, business continuity, crisis management, and travel security. Oversee the preparation and follow-up of meetings, including agenda setting, minutes, and action items. Streamline workflows, define key performance indicators, and improve operational efficiencies within the department.

Communication and Coordination

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Facilitate communication between Converged Security Services and other internal and external stakeholders. Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and other communication materials as required.

Project Management

Lead and manage special projects and initiatives. Ensure timely completion of projects, adhering to quality standards and budget constraints. Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to achieve project objectives.

 

Crisis Management and Business Continuity

Support the development and implementation of crisis management and business continuity plans, training, and exercising. Assist in coordinating response efforts during incidents and crises.

 

Budget and Resource Management

Assist in the preparation and management of the CSS budget and investment plan. Monitor expenditures and ensure efficient allocation of resources. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend financial improvements.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in a senior security or complex investigative management role. 5+ years of leadership experience. Proven track record of managing complex projects and initiatives. Experience in global physical security design and implementation, complex investigations, digital forensics, global travel security, large event protection, and crisis management. The successful candidate will have a converged security background that involves many of the foregoing skills and has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in multiple areas. Ability to work after hours when needed.

Highly motivated, continual learner, who is comfortable working in a high operational tempo environment. Superb leadership abilities even under stress. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively. Experience with project management tools. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure. High level of integrity and confidentiality.

 

Preferred Certifications:

CISSP, HR-218, EMT/Paramedic, PMP, GCIH, CPP
