Job Summary
This role has high visibility to company leadership and is essential to the continued growth of Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy business. Collaborate with key leaders and team members across Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy, Marketing, Sales Enablement and Walgreens Commercial teams to shape the go-to-market strategy for Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy in the payer market. This position will be responsible for promoting strategic growth for Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy by identifying leads and closing sales transactions across multiple segments including employer groups, health plans, and brokers.
Job ResponsibilitiesCollaborate across the Walgreens Commercial organization to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth and set sales targets.Attend industry and market specific trade show, events, and conferences to engage with prospects and customers.Build and maintain key prospect and channel relationships by calling on self-funded employer groups, third party administrators, brokers, consultants, health plans, and coalitions to promote Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy services.Identify potential new clients, analyze client needs and solution fit, inform discovery and solution development process, orchestrate proposal development, make pricing recommendations, lead and organize finalist presentations to position the company to win.Finalize contract terms and support the accurate translation of the proposal into contractual agreement.Act as a liaison between our company and customers through contracting and implementation process.Work collaboratively with internal departments such as underwriting, marketing, product, implementation and customer success teams to successfully onboard new clients.Provide background and insight about prospective opportunities to internal sales support teams and commercial leadership.Report on market successes and challenges to leadership, and key stakeholders across the organization.Use Salesforce.com to track and report sales activities to company leaders.Build constructive and effective relationships across the company.Shares ideas across teams and influences business/product priorities.About Walgreens
