What this job involves:

As the at JLL Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize the procurement process. You will play a crucial role in identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving supplier performance improvement initiatives. Your expertise and leadership will enable JLL to achieve maximum value from supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with JLL's objectives and goalsCollaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing requirements and creating sourcing plans accordinglyConducting market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and offeringsManaging supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with terms and conditionsOverseeing the evaluation and selection process of suppliers, including conducting supplier assessments and managing supplier performanceOptimizing sourcing processes, driving cost efficiencies, and managing supplier riskCollaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop long-term sourcing strategiesMonitoring and analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities to enhance sourcing practicesLeading and mentoring a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance and support in achieving departmental goals

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with a focus on vendor management and contract negotiationDemonstrated experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies in a large-scale organizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and market insights to drive decision-makingExcellent negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of achieving cost savings and process improvementsProven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersSolid understanding of procurement best practices and industry trendsProficiency in procurement tools and systems (e.g., e-sourcing platforms, contract management software)Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (MBA preferred)Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)Experience in the commercial real estate industry or related field

Estimated total compensation for this position:

156,000.00 – 180,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
