Senior Director, Supply Chain
**Job Summary** Responsible for working with enterprise-wide business leadership to effectively evaluate the product order fulfillment process from the point of procurement through delivery. Ensure people, systems, and processes are in place to support product order fill rates are maintained at the highest possible level and the lowest possible cost. **Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities** + Leads a team of supply chain professionals. Provides necessary coaching and development to direct reports. + Develops strategic planning to ensure product availability is maintained in support of customer sales. + Monitors the operational and transactional efficiency of the business to maintain costs at the lowest possible level. + Establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of operations, quality, reliability, and safety. Develops and promotes enterprise wide quality improvements. Evaluates and develops improved techniques for control of operations, quality, reliability and safety. + Ensures that effective measurement tools are in place to reflect accurate service levels, inventory turns, dead stock and fleet utilization. + Champions distribution center optimization and planning within the business. + Informs executive management on all pertinent issues concerning the supply chain process. **Nature and Scope** + Problems are complex and may be defined by higher level leadership. Solutions require high strategic level analysis and investigation. + Drives strategy and methodology and serves as the subject-matter expert for policies and practices. Decides how to achieve planned results within an organization's plans, policies, and guidelines. + Manages via multiple layers OR directly supervises a staff of professional individual contributors at the senior or technical advisor level. Directs budgetary responsibility at the enterprise level or for two or more businesses across the enterprise. **Work Environment** + Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. + Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. + Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time. **Education and Experience** + Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
