Senior Director, Total Rewards and HRIS

Position Summary:

The Senior Director, Total Rewards and HRIS is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and management of the company’s global total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, payroll, HRIS platform, and recognition. This role will ensure that the organization’s total rewards strategies are competitive, sustainable, scalable, and aligned with the company’s business goals. This individual works with senior leadership to attract, motivate, and retain top talent while promoting a culture of fairness, equity, and performance.

Essential Functions:

Total Reward Strategy

Develop and lead the overall global compensation, benefits, and recognition strategies to support the organization’s business objectives.Ensure alignment of total rewards programs with the company’s values, goals, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.Lead market analysis, benchmarking, and salary structure development to ensure competitive compensation offerings.

Compensation

Oversee global base salary programs, incentive plans, executive compensation, and equity compensation plans.Partner with key stakeholders on the design and implementation of short-term and long-term incentive programs.Ensure compliance with compensation regulations and best practices.

Benefits

Design and manage a comprehensive global benefits strategy, including health, wellness, retirement, and other employee programs.Ensure benefits programs are competitive and meet the evolving needs of the workforce.Collaborate with vendors and partners to optimize benefits offerings and cost-efficiency.

HRIS Platform

Oversee the effective utilization of HRIS systems to ensure accurate and timely processing of compensation, benefits, and reward programs.Lead the integration and optimization of HRIS platforms to support Total Rewards strategies, including compensation planning, benefits administration, and performance management.Collaborate with IT and HR teams to ensure seamless data flow and reporting capabilities for Total Rewards processes, driving automation and operational efficiency.Analyze HRIS data to generate insights for decision-making, identifying trends in compensation, benefits utilization, and workforce demographics.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies by maintaining accurate HRIS data for compensation and benefits programs.Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives related to HRIS functionality, supporting the evolving needs of the Total Rewards department.Act as the primary point of contact for HRIS vendors related to Total Rewards, ensuring service level agreements are met and enhancements are properly executed.

Create innovative programs that reinforce organizational culture, performance, and employee engagement.

Leadership & Collaboration

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all aspects of total rewards.Partner with HR leadership and business leaders to align rewards strategies with organizational objectives.Lead, mentor, and develop the Total Rewards team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment.

Analytics and Reporting

Develop and manage metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and competitiveness of the total rewards programs.Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the leadership team for continuous improvement.Manage compensation and benefits budgets and analyze financial impact.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure all total rewards programs comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.Stay informed on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations related to compensation and benefits.Ensure internal policies and practices promote equity and fairness in compensation and benefits administration.

General

Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your roleRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, and total rewards, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Expertise in executive compensation, salary structure development, and benefits program management.Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, ACA, ERISA, etc.).Certification in Compensation (e.g., CCP, CEBS) is a plus.Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with executive leadership and key stakeholders.Proven leadership experience, with strong team management and development skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAttention to detailSelf-starterAdvanced critical thinking and problems-solving skillsProficiency in using Microsoft Office productsAbility to travel up to 15% of the time
