Senior Director, Walgreens 340b Program
Job Summary:

Responsible for Walgreens 340b contract pharmacy business, inclusive of specialty. Role must envision, design and implement solutions for 340b covered entities and other drug-replenishment customers with the objective of expanding Walgreen’s market share while concurrently enhancing client outcomes. Provides leadership, direction, and vision to a team responsible for managing extensive client base, including managing the designing, testing and roll out of new products. Role must be actively engaged with the 340b industry, including maintaining a strong awareness of market dynamics. Role must be able to effectively engage with HRSA administrators, along with elected and appointed officials that have influence with 340b legislation and rulemaking. Maintain a close relationship with advocacy groups that influence policy and legislation (ex: AHA, 340b Health, NACHC, 340b ESP, etc.)

Job Responsibility:
Envisions, designs and implements solutions for 340b customers with the objective of expanding Walgreen’s market share and maintaining profitability, while concurrently enhancing patient outcomes.Provides leadership, direction, and vision to a team responsible for managing broad portfolio of diverse client types. Responsible for designing, testing and implementing new products and systems that can be easily adapted to support individual client needs and can be adapted to evolve with market changes.Develops competitive intelligence on competitors entering or expanding in the 340B program in a way that is customer-centric and supports customer’s ability to enhance high-quality patient services at minimal costs.Thinks creatively about the 340b program and its role in the health care ecosystem, including designing, testing, and implementing solutions that minimize administrative burdens, optimize Walgreen’s competitive market offerings, and respond to changes in market conditions.Identify and drive market share growth opportunities.Represents Walgreens at industry meetings and conferences.Collaborates with health system sales activities to optimize various sales opportunities.Collaborates with other operating units within Walgreens to facilitate service delivery to customers.Functions as the subject matter experts on 340B programs, regulations, and shifts in legislation.Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all national and regional wholesalers to ensure product access for WAG and clients.Maintain strong knowledge of the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS).
