Our canine group, under Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring a Senior Director - Business Development. The Senior Director, Business Development for Allied Universal's Enhanced Protection Services (EPS) is responsible for leading and executing the strategy to achieve and exceed assigned revenue growth goals. The Senior Director, Business Development will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities while maintaining a working relationship with the leaders of division’s six practice areas: Intelligence, Consulting, Investigations, Executive Protection, Disaster Response and Active Law Enforcement, and K9/Mail Screening. This position serves as the primary advocate and strategist for EPS services, driving customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction across various industries.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proactively identify potential business opportunities through outreach, internal relationships, and client inquiriesConduct investigations of alleged violations of laws, policies, and regulationsLog and maintain all opportunities into Salesforce.com for tracking and managementWork closely with Practice Leads/Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to determine the best approach for client engagementsCoordinate introductions, virtual meetings, and proposal delivery as neededShare detailed client needs and point-of-contact information with Practice Leads/SMEsMaintain visibility and engagement in all correspondence related to client opportunitiesOversee contract finalization, ensuring the signed Statement of Work (SOW) is documented and filedClose opportunities in Salesforce.com upon contract execution and project schedulingAdvocate for both the client and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely responses and alignment of expectationsParticipate in virtual meetings and provide orientation for new clientsProvide weekly updates on the status of opportunities, tracking progress from initiation to closureDevelop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of EPS services to:Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.Identify and recommend services tailored to client needs.Educate Allied Universal guard force managers on EPS offerings to strengthen client relationshipsServe as the spokesperson for EPS in the assigned region, fostering relationships with Regional Presidents, RVPs, and Account ManagersParticipate in Quarterly Business Reviews, sales training sessions, and regional operations meetingsAct as a communication bridge within and outside the company, representing EPS in webinars, conferences, and client meetingsUtilize analytics to target outreach efforts effectively, engaging with clients via inbound requests and direct contactRepresent Allied Universal at large-scale industry events, such as GSX, ISC West, and OSAC conferencesLeverage memberships in professional organizations like ASIS, ATAP, and Infragard to promote EPS capabilities

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related fieldInterviewing certification through a credible source (i.e., Wicklander-Zulawski, etc.)Ability to obtain licensure in a specialty area as requiredProfessional business development, client relations, or similar experience in the security or risk management industryWork experience demonstrating each of the following:The ability to model strong oral and written business communication skillsAbility to navigate through complex negotiations at the executive levelStrong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM toolsIn-depth understanding of Enhanced Protection Services and related practice areasExperience in managing complex projects and coordinating cross-functional teamsStrategic thinking with a client-focused approachAbility to manage multiple priorities with speed and urgencyExceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detailSkilled in delivering impactful presentations and proposals

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Membership in professional organizations (e.g., ASIS, ATAP, Infragard)Prior civilian or military law enforcement experience, preferably New York Police Department
