What Will You Do?

The Senior Director of Distribution Center Operations will provide strategic and tactical direction for multiple distribution centers within the Company, supporting domestic and global distribution of product. This position will direct the activities and oversee the distribution centers in their efficient use of labor hours and productivity to meet distribution center volume expectations. This position will apply accountability standards based on key metrics and implement change to continuously improve performance and increase workflow efficiencies. The Senior Director of Distribution Center Operations will drive operational improvements to achieve business goals as well as streamline processes and maximize operational performance to enable long-term growth. This position will ensure effective utilization of space and equipment in all distribution centers and ensure processes are effectively established, followed, monitored and optimized. Additionally, the Senior Director will provide coaching, mentoring and support in the development of staff and recognize individual team successes. The Senior Director of Distribution Center Operations will be responsible for multiple distribution and fulfillment centers, ranging in size from 300,000 square feet to 1.5 million square feet with $12 to $21 million invoiced per week at each location. 

What Do You Need?

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent work experience, Required 12 years of experience overseeing multiple medium to large sized distribution centers, Required Experience with budgeting, forecasting and planning Ability to develop and implement business plans and goals Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement Knowledge of distribution software and inventory/warehouse management systems
