Responsibilities
Scope:
Responsibilities of this position include overseeing and managing the strategic efforts of the Business Development Team. This individual will focus on sales methodologies, lead generation up to and through the sales cycle process to achieve TMC’s growth goal.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Guide sales methodologies and training throughout the Business Development department.Responsible for executing strategies, projects, and outcomes of BD deptResponsible for the use of Salesforce and other sales technologies to ensure accurate tracking and trending of sales metrics by the entire BD teamAssist the Senior VP of Sales in determining marketing and promotional strategies, including trade show presence, corporate sponsorships, targeted campaigns, and more.Continuously stay informed of all TMC deliverables through monthly / quarterly meetings with TMC divisions to support selling knowledge and positioning TMC in the marketplaceAlign Brand Marketing and Business Development strategies and efforts.Support Senior VP of Sales in communication efforts to both Executive Team and Operations team members.Along with Senior VP of Sales, identify target markets/entities to be targeted for Business Development efforts.Ensure delivery of monthly reports and team tacticals Business Development team membersOther duties as assigned by Senior VP of Sales
Qualifications
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in related field.10 + years’ experience in a marketing role.3+ years’ experience leading a marketing team/department.Strong leadership abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Clear, courteous, and professional when dealing with internal and/or external customers.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines in a team environment.Ability to identify, communicate and resolve issues and concerns as needed.Organized and detail oriented.Reliable transportation.Maintain confidentiality.Ability to lift 20 lbs.
