Senior Director of Business Intelligence

Job Summary: 

As Senior Director of Business Intelligence, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and scaling Ruggable’s analytics and insights capabilities to inform management decision-making and help achieve our ambitious growth agenda. Leveraging your deep expertise with data marts, visualization platforms, and related governance, you will implement and maintain a self-service analytics and reporting environment to deliver timely financial and operational metrics to functional leaders across the business.

Partnering with the business and our Data Analytics and Engineering teams, you will initially focus on identifying requirements, defining key metrics, and building out relevant data models and dashboards. Ultimately, you will serve as a trusted thought partner to functional leadership, translating data into insights that drive overall business strategies and outcomes. 

What You’ll Do: 

Develop and implement Ruggable’s overall Business Intelligence strategy and roadmap Design, build, and maintain a standard suite of published and self-service reporting tools that provide functional leaders with timely access to key financial and operational metrics Build effective working relationships across business functions and conduct self-service training to ensure that BI data and tools are adopted as “single source of truth.”  Collaborate with functional leaders and our Data and Analytics Engineering teams to ensure that new informational and analytical requirements are identified and prioritized as needed for the business Set standard data and metrics definitions across functions and own related governance processes Deliver insights and actionable recommendations to functional leadership from timely analysis of underlying data and trends Build, lead, and develop a world class BI team

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

8+ years of leadership experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or a related field 5+ years of expertise with Looker, Tableau, Power BI, and other reporting and BI tools 5+ years of experience working in data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance best practices Proven experience in building scalable BI reporting processes Fluency with data/visualization technologies and best practices Strategic perspective with strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership, peers, and teams across business functions Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Sciences, or related field

Preferred:

Experience at high-growth publicly-traded e-commerce and/or CPG experience beneficial but not mandatory Experience with statistical analysis and familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R

Compensation:

$195,000 - $225,000 per year base salary An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
