Position Summary: The Senior Director of Clinical Services will provide leadership and clinical oversight for patient care and experience, quality, infection prevention, regulatory standards and policy, clinical education, and financial performance for HHC Senior Services with consists of Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities, St. Vincent’s Special Needs, the Center for Healthy Aging and Independence at Home. The Senior Director will provide oversight of clinical care, clinical redesign, and outcomes as well as value-based purchasing, clinical innovations, and to some degree payer contracts. Key Accountabilities: * Directs clinical operations, activities and quality service delivery based on customer responsiveness both internally and externally * Anticipates resource needs, sets priorities, and allocates human and financial resources based on analysis of critical performance indicators and external forces. Measures, analyzes, and reports results using qualitative and quantitative benchmarks * Develops, implements and executes business plans, and achieve strategic and operational objectives. Fosters alignment with mission, vision, and values * Responsible for achieving operational performance metrics in the areas of quality, finance, patient/customer experience * Monitors quality and appropriateness of services, products, and/or function under the Senior Director’s area of responsibility * Creates and fosters an innovative, learning, and participative environment for staff * Builds alliances with other area providers to maintain the quality of the base business and ensure a continuum of care * Represents the organization to other groups, agencies, funders, key stakeholders, and the community * Bachelor's Degree in related field and Master's Degree is required. One degree must be in nursing * Five plus years of progressive leadership experience in clinical operations in a healthcare setting * Understanding of State and Federal regulations and requirements for Community Living environments * Proven experience with operations, including financial performance * Experience with regulatory standards and policy, clinical education and infection protection * Highly effective analytical, organizational and problem-solving skill * Strong communications skills required - both written and verbal * Visible leader with excellent interpersonal communication skills who relates well with all levels of the organizatio * A creative, forward-thinking leader with the proven ability to engage, coach and mentor direct reports, colleagues and other key stakeholders We take great care of careers.
