We are seeking a Senior Director of Oncology Engagements who will be a key member of the Oncology Care & Access leadership team. This role will identify, lead, and direct a collection of activities associated with external Oncology initiatives. You will work across Oncology to ensure effective prioritization, management, and delivery of numerous initiatives, partnering internally with the US Oncology team and members within the Global OBU organization to support patient engagements within Oncology Accounts. The position will drive and support several care initiatives, including Quality Initiatives across the US Oncology portfolio, broad externally facing initiatives in partnership with Global, and transforming care engagements in support of AZ’s 2030 initiative.
Accountabilities
Be responsible for development and implementation of Quality Initiatives in Oncology accounts to support better patient outcomes through earlier patient identification and improved screening.Develop strategic approaches and lead efforts with the team to address appropriate product and diagnostic pathway inclusion with identified organizations.Lead cross-functional alignment to ensure effective portfolio optimization.Partner optimally within the Global AZ Oncology business to support innovative ideas and identify potential external partners.Develop business-to-business relationships with targeted Oncology executive-level customers to support the business.Collaborate across the Oncology Care & Access team to support the development of team priorities on a quarterly basis.Develop budget requirements to support strategic plans and engagements.Identify and prioritize related evidence gaps based on customer needs and integrate RWE messaging into functional assets.Work closely with VP to align on requirements in support of initiatives.Influence and gain cross-functional partner alignment through collaboration with the OBU and BBU.Essential Skills/Experience

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $182,000 to $273,000. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
