We’re looking for a Senior director to join our US Marketing team. In this integral role, you will guide the commercial strategy, driving market share growth, bringing new innovation to life, and ensuring best-in-class executions. Reporting to the GM Luxury Skincare, US, you will get to work across several categories, develop meaningful programs and disrupt the beauty market.
The Senior Director US Marketing is responsible for leading the US Fragrance, Bath & Body & Promotions categories driving market share and business growth.
This position will drive a leading disruptive go-to-market strategies to meet the needs of the business.
THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for:
Develop strategic category plan, complete with outlined objectives, market opportunities, strategy and tactics, ensuring growth goals are met for key categories: Fine-Fragrance, Bath & Body, Holiday, ongoing promotional sets.
Build out 3-year calendar and franchise building blocks to drive growth.
Manage a team of 2 and oversee development for all commercial programs with cross functional teams including Sales, Merchandising, Finance, PR/IM, Legal and Operations to ensure timetable/milestone adherence and best-in-class execution.
Lead the development of the 360 marketing plans and partner with Sales, Trade Marketing, PR/IM, Education, Media and VM to ensure it comes to life.
Inspire the team to introduce new ideas to connect with consumers and animate the retail environment.
Identify new sales and marketing opportunities and address issues relating to COGs, pricing, portfolio management.
Analyze competitive data (NPD Rankings, product mix, retail pricing, top selling promotions) to utilize as tool in seasonal planning as well as to drive future growth of brand.
In conjunction with GM, drive creation of all internal presentations (i.e. annual planning, 3-year planning, Retail Strategies and Tactics)
Supervise and develop subordinates by creating development plans and mentoring employees
QUALIFICATIONS
We’d love to see candidates who have:
Essential:
8 year + in product marketing & product development in beauty industry
4-year degree, MBA preferred
Experience leading teams within a highly matrix function
Strategic- Planning, facilitation, problem analysis, decision making
Creativity and Innovation- Creativity, Business savvy, originality, intuition
