Broadridge are Hiring! We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior North American Product Manager for SBL to join our Team.
We are looking to bring on board someone with an in-depth knowledge of Northern American Securities Lending and Borrowing market and process and who shall be an acknowledged expert in one or more functional areas and shall maintain this knowledge through communicating with clients and undertaking the necessary research on changes in the market. Furthermore, understanding SDLC and support the Agile Development Teams is required.
This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.
Job Responsibilities:
You will gather requirements, create product designs, define user stories, and validate acceptance criteria. You will be key within the Agile Development Squads to translate client requirements into solutions which meet client demand.You will be required to visit clients as part of this role and provide feedback to the sales team and your manager on the level of satisfaction of the client. During visits, you will take the opportunity to discuss new products or modules with a client and encourage the client to purchase these where appropriate. As part of the sales process, you shall be involved in supporting demos to prospects where their knowledge is applicable. You will use your knowledge to identify opportunities in the market, threats from competitors and provide input to any customer surveys and use your knowledge, experience, and interaction with clients to develop ideas for new products.Training of staff (and clients) is necessary to improve knowledge and grow the company. You shall create and provide show and tells, training courses and documentation on functional areas and other subjects where they have the requisite knowledge. Active involvement in the knowledge transfer mechanism to allow staff and clients to gain knowledge and understanding of the use of the system.Preferred Qualifications:
Academic/Technical Qualifications
Degree level/equivalent qualification, preferably business related; or a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.Knowledge and Experience
A minimum of 8 years business analysis experience in Northern American Securities Finance MarketHave knowledge of Loanet, DTC and Books and Records systems.Personality
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior executives. Reliable, tolerant, and determined.Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view.Must be an extremely competent writer of business letters, quotations, and proposals. Must be competent in mathematics. Able to calculate and validate, trading positions, profit and loss, exposure calculations etc.Must be able to create clear, concise, and unambiguous documents for a people with and without knowledge of the subject matter.Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $165.000 - $185.000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
