What will you be doing?
Software Functional Leadership:Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence within the software team.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development and robotics.Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance the capabilities of software in our robotic systems.Project Leadership:Collaborate with PMO to help with the planning, execution, and delivery of robotics projects. Handle budgets, timelines, resources and mitigate risks relating to software to ensure successful project outcomes.Stakeholder Engagement:Act as the Software primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineering, hardware engineering, marketing, clinical, regulatory, quality, operations, finance, and suppliersTeam Development:Mentor and develop team members, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team.What will you need to be successful?
Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven track record in the medical device or robotics industry.Proven success in delivering software products from concept to launch.Bachelor’s degree in electrical, software engineering, or a related field.Location: Pittsburgh, PA
