**Position Summary**
The Senior Director Site Operations/Accountable Manager leads the management of Jet Aviation Airservices. and all related activity involving the entity. The AM will be responsible to build, grow and maintain the capabilities in accordance with the Jet Aviation overall strategy and EMEA LT vision.
The Senior Director Site Operations/Accountable Manager of Jet Aviation Airservices has the tactical, operational, and financial responsibility for the site, and is responsible for all aspects of the business including operations. The AM will be cooperating closely with Finance, Human Resources and Legal to ensure that processes and standards are implemented and adhered to accordingly. Actively participates in the LOB Leadership Team of the business to drive synergies and standards in line with the business strategy.
**Main Responsibilities**
+ The Senior Director Site Operations is the Accountable Manager in respect to the financial and contractual arrangements to ensure that the organisation can perform its activities.
+ Manages, directs and coordinates all segments of the site's day-to day operations.
+ Lead the Rotary Wing business encompassing new aircraft sales, MRO and aftermarket Sales.
+ Manages the development, implementation and enhancement of operating policies, processes and procedures that affect Jet Aviation's short and long-range priorities.
+ Manages site’s performance through implementation and follow up of relevant KPIs.
+ Defines and executes the business strategy for the site, in line with financial plans, global Jet Aviation Strategy, the EMEA LT vision, and customer needs. Establishes necessary controls and metrics to monitor progress on execution. Takes necessary corrective action, if necessary.
+ Provides operational leadership to ensure that the site meets its financial targets and improves its financial contribution to the group.
+ Defines a customer service plan for the site and drives necessary change to fully align organization to the necessary customer focus. In collaboration with the Sales organization personally supports in managing key customer relationships.
+ Builds and fosters relationships with customers and aerospace organizations to ensure successful acquisitions of new customers and effective retention of existing customers. Ensures, in collaboration and coordination with the Sales organization that the business has a robust pipeline of possible new customers and business prospects.
**Main Responsibilities Cont.**
+ Leads the site management team, which performs at a consistently high level, and which drives a performance culture throughout the business.
+ Ensures that key managers have strong successors in place.
+ Ensures compliance with applicable laws, aviation regulations, and applicable policies regarding environment, health, and safety. Responsible for ongoing company and regional relationships with Bell and related principles identifying company and regional contacts and relationships scope
+ Responsible for Bell Sales, Customers Service and Maintenance related policy, procedure and process development, communication and implementation including but not limited to
o Cost of Sales, Margins and Trade in value where applicable
o Contracts and Agreements Contribution
o Risk assessments of new and used aircraft
+ Plans and coordinates operations and special projects across multiple sites in accordance with Regional Operations and Works collaboratively across all site leadership teams.
+ Gives priority to the customer globally over the region or specific site and ensures that no internal Jet Aviation competition exists.
+ Drives continuous improvement culture and ensures that employees collaborate effectively with global support functions on streamlining processes, systems, tools.
+ Drives a culture of trust, honesty, alignment, transparency, and performance throughout the region in line with JET VALUES
+ Ensures that sites have strong successors in place and develops local Jet Aviation talents.
+ Ensures compliance with applicable laws, aviation regulations, and applicable GD and Jet Aviation policies in including the strict compliance to the DOA.
+ Conduct business ethically according to GD Blue Book regulations, and applicable GD and Jet Aviation policies.
+ Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
+ Other duties may be assigned, as needed.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ 10 years relevant work and professional experience in a senior operational leadership role with multiple financial responsibilities including but not limited to budget, forecasting and profit and loss responsibilities, preferably in the aerospace industry
+ A broad range of experience with helicopter operations across multiple market segments
+ Master’s degree
+ Regional Middle East experience will be advantage
+ Experience within the Bell framework – Aircraft, mission, types, purchasing, technical – Other OEM will also be an advantage.
