Job Overview
Ardmore Roderick is seeking a Senior Distribution Engineer (Gas/Electric) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design and execution of complex distribution projects. This role offers the chance to work on critical energy infrastructure while growing within a dynamic and expanding firm.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the planning, design, and execution of overhead and underground distribution systems for both gas and electric networks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
+ Perform detailed engineering calculations and develop design documents, including plans, specifications, and drawings
+ Prepare and review technical plans, specifications, and construction drawings to support project execution
+ Utilize PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, and other engineering software to develop precise and efficient designs
+ Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, and environmental engineer
+ Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes
+ Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and client-specific guidelines
+ Identify and mitigate project risks while supporting scope changes and adjustments.
+ Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and professional development opportunities.
+ Support the preparation of RFP responses and participate in business development activities.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
+ 8+ years of experience in gas and/or electric distribution engineering (EPC experience preferred).
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
+ Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, MicroStation, PLS-CADD, and MathCADD.
+ Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills.

Base Pay Range: $90K – $115K
