Senior eCommerce Operations Analyst

​Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Senior eCommerce Operations Analyst. This role is onsite at our Syracuse, NY facility. Relocation is not provided.  

 

The Senior E-Commerce Operations Analyst will report into GEIS NA Customer Experience organization and collaborate with cross functional teams in the analysis and execution of various process improvement opportunities impacting the end-to-end experience with our customers.  This position will be critical in supporting the design and development teams to deliver valuable digital features and capabilities that align with needs of the business stakeholders and/or customers to enhance the overall customer journey.

The Syracuse, NY site core competencies are iron & aluminum foundries, machining, plating, and assembly. Manufacturing about 1 million units per month, the Syracuse team places high value on talented professionals who are focused on problem solving and efficiency.

 

The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

What you’ll do:

The Senior E-Commerce Operations Analyst will consult with project teams and business partners to collect, clarify, and translate VOC into business/technical requirements from which IT solutions are estimated and developed in accordance with business priorities. This position will also coordinate with other functional teams including sales, operations, finance, IT and marketing to share customer insights and ensure that Eaton continually improves the customer experience.
 
In this role you will:

Synthesize customer data to develop preliminary insights in understanding how customers use, value, and interact with our systems to drive electronic order entry usageResponsible for identifying issues from a customer perspective through analytics and VOC to better improve overall digital experienceContributes to the team’s overall understanding of all SAP and e-commerce platforms (EDI, VMI, Order Center) by serving as the SME for current system features, future enhancements, and new projectsParticipate in new enhancement agile projectsPerform User Acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing along with new enhancement/support fixes in both DEV and QA environmentsProvides technical and operational support to marketing, sales, customer service, finance, and pricing teamsMonitors SAP connection with multiple platforms to ensure seamless order processing, synchronized data feed and successful document transmissionsPrepare and analyze weekly/monthly metrics for upper management on customer engagement, electronic usage, and growth opportunitiesDevelop Power BI KPI dashboards to track productivity and continuous improvement opportunities Perform troubleshooting and analysis of defects reported to determine the root cause of the issues across multiple functionsPartners with customer master team to drive and align data in SAPAssist with cost reduction projects to help maximize efficiency of the Customer Service departmentImplement strategies to solve both digital and operational problemsSupport month-end financial activitiesProvide any additional ad hoc reports/activities as neededQualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited institutionMinimum of (7) years’ experience with SAP and/or e-commerce technology. Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates who currently reside within 50 miles of the Syracuse, NY facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fieldExperience working cross functionally to identify, document and resolve customer issues.Knowledge of Crouse Hinds and B-Line productsExperience in IT supporting SAP processes.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience within the electrical and/or telecom industry.
