JR53822 Senior EHS EngineerResponsibilities:Develop, implement, and continuously improve Micron's environmental programs and procedures.Contribute to the site's sustainability goals by actively participating in committees and collaborating on planning, implementing, and monitoring projects.Present environmental matters to Micron Leadership and regulatory agencies, both in written and verbal form.Complete internal auditor training and assist in EHS management system internal audits.Coordinate and conduct environmental walkthroughs, inspections, and audits.Investigate incidents and events, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions and preventative measures.Develop and implement cost-effective solutions for environmental issues.Identify, develop, and provide environmental training in accordance with regulations and company & department objectives.Collect, evaluate, and communicate environmental-related metrics and performance measurements.Provide customer support and technical expertise for various environmental issues and regulations.Meet requirements to conduct accurate environmental calculations and submit vital reports to regulatory agencies.Conduct applicability determinations on environmental regulations.Make objective decisions supported by verifiable facts.Collaborate closely with external organizations on EHS compliance issues.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in EHS or equivalent qualifications, including relevant work experience.Certification in Safety and Health Officer (SHO) and Certified Environmental Professional in Solid Waste & Asset Management (CePSWAM).Proficiency in PowerBi and other analytic tools is advantageous.Background in environmental sustainability.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the EHS field and semiconductor industry.About Micron Technology, Inc.
