Objectives:
• Deliver differentiated and demand-driven EHS services to recipients, as point of contact from GBA/U to ODs in Asia Pacific, to support business units in operating and driving growth in a compliant manner
• Provide professional EHS services to dedicated service demand
• Drive EHS digitalization efforts in collaboration with BASF Digitalization Smart Manufacturing Greater China Team

Main Tasks:
1. Deliver differentiated and demand-driven EHS services to recipients, as point of contact from GBA/U to ODs in Asia Pacific
• Identify EHS service demands from different service requestors, e.g. BUs/Sites/Plants, Managing Directors, Corporate Center, other service units.
• Coordinate with global Safety cluster workstreams on EHS Services related topics
• Coordinate within GBA/U to deliver a competitive, demand-driven and effective EHS services to recipients
• Ensure smooth communication with all ODs in Asia Pacific about EHS service demand and delivery and continually improve effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery from GBA/U

2. Provide professional EHS services to dedicated service demand
• Simplify EHS processes (e.g. PTW) together with other EHS disciplines
• Support site/plant RC Audit preparation including gap analysis and sharing of good solutions
• Provide EHS consultation and trainings as requested, e.g. Root Cause Analysis workshop, incident management
• Support troubleshooting of specific issues, e.g. Eyewash optimization support to site/plant
• Develop and deploy EHS education/awareness programs with other EHS disciplines
• Provide professional advice/consultation to questions raised by service requestors
• Other services as requested, e.g. Contract Manufacturing Audit

3. Drive EHS digitalization efforts in collaboration with BASF Digitalization Smart Manufacturing Greater China Team
• Identify needs from business units and develop path forward in a coordinated approach in the region/country
• Proactively collect implemented good practices (e.g. forklift digitalized program) and promote sharing to interested parties
• Provide expertise involvement in the development of digitalization solution (e.g. e-MOC, e-PTW) to ensure compliance with legal and BASF Requirement

4. Others
• Represent BASF Asia Pacific in global EHS Forum, share insights from GBA/U and communicate key points to GBA community and ODs in Asia Pacific

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or EHS related
• 10+ years experiences in Operations and/or Safety, in between at least 5 years in the management position (production manager or EHS manager)
• Strong Knowledge in EHS Management Systems (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, etc.)
• Knowledge/experience in Project Management is preferred
• Deep Knowledge of BASF Organization
• Skills: Project Management, Communication & Presentation, Moderation, Organization, Knowledge transfer (preferred), Change management (preferred)
