Join our team and take on a pivotal role as a Senior Electrical Certification Engineer with the Interiors Installation & Integration team. What you Will Do:

Developing Comprehensive Test Plans: You'll have the opportunity to craft detailed test plans and test reports, ensuring that every aspect of our electrical components is thoroughly evaluated.Overseeing Testing Processes: From start to finish, you'll oversee testing procedures, ensuring that tests are conducted accurately and efficiently. Your keen eye for detail will be instrumental in identifying any potential issues and ensuring compliance with safety standards.Determining and Documenting Compliance: Your expertise will be vital in developing and reviewing documentation for various electrical components, including Grounding & Bonding, thermal systems, and safety assessments. You'll ensure that all documentation meets the highest standards and adheres to regulatory requirements.Ensuring Quality Assurance: You'll play a key role in maintaining quality standards by developing processes, templates, and work instructions. Your efforts will help us achieve exceptional metrics such as First Pass Yield and First Time Fix, ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations.Participating in Design Reviews: Your critical insights will be invaluable during design reviews, where you'll ensure that our programs are aligned with requirements and milestone timelines. Your proactive approach will help us identify any potential challenges early on, allowing for timely adjustments and improvements.Support the group and execute any assigned program work. Keep abreast of all OEM and FAA regulations, modifications, changes and technical advances to assure continued operational safety is maintained. Review, analyze and evaluate problem areas and initiate actions to correct technical deficiencies associated with the execution with Qualification of the programs at an LRU and System Level. Review and presents plans and reports relating training certification strategy depicting progress, and results

Qualifications you Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experienceMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Advanced knowledge and experience within disciplineDemonstrated ability to independently lead team effort in pursuit of company goalsDevelops innovative ideas in alignment with business goalsLeads and participates in cross functional/departmental efforts at process improvements or Kaizens/trainingPrior experience in the design of mechanical and electrical systems for commercial aircraft seating productsExperience with Jira, Microsoft Project, Siemens NX and TeamcenterExperience with FAA aircraft certification processes such as TSO/PMA/TC/STCKnowledge of OEM electrical requirementsFAA DER preferredExperience interacting with the FAA and other aviation regulatory organizationsPosition could include domestic and international travel in support of Company engagements as a recognized focal for advanced technologies.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
