We have an opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Honeywell Aerospace team in Krakow.

As a part of our Advanced & Applied Technology team, you will play an integral role in the development of innovative technologies in the Aerospace segment, allowing you to gain experience in an exciting industry niche. You will use your expertise in Electrical and Electronics Engineering area for Power Electronics, Power Electronics Digital Control, Electronic signal sensing and electronic signal processing, and its integration into technology demonstrator for sustainable aircraft propulsion system. You will employ system level thinking to allow Power electronics component and sub-system design and integration, leading discussions between different disciplines such as Electronics, Mechanics, Software.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

Key responsibilities:

Candidate will work in Advanced Technology team focused on Electrical and electronical technologies and applications currently focusing on:

Developing sustainable aerospace technologies using hydrogen for aircraft propulsion, and aircraft electrification, integration with other aircraft systems Understanding of power electronics for low and high voltage applications (28 V DC up to 1000 V DC+)Designing concept and performing calculations & simulationsPreparing of technical documentation Supporting and close collaboration with other team disciplines (electronic HW team, mechanical team, software team)

Key requirements:

Master’s Degree in Electrical Power engineering or related field or equivalent experience3-6 years of previous experience, involving experience with design of power electronics with knowledge of electrical and mechanical design SW & systemExperience with creating technical documentationGood English commandAnalytical and organizational skills
