This role is part of our Equipment and Solutions Division, business line Offshore Solutions. Reporting directly to the Team Lead E&I and Hydraulic. This position is based in Gdansk, Poland.
Key responsibilities Design, modify, and optimize equipment from the existing product portfolio while developing efficient and sustainable solutions Collaborate with other project stakeholders to deliver designs on time, within budget, and to quality standards Assist in the tender phase: review customer specifications, highlight deviations, and produce documentation Perform electrical calculations, analyze systems, and propose corrective actions Configure and test drive applications, troubleshooting issues during commissioning Stay updated on engineering standards, regulations, and technologies Manage technical documentation, be able to take on the Engineering Lead role in projects, and mentor other engineers in your area of expertise Provide technical support, demonstrate a work ethic, and perform additional duties, including travel when required What you’ll need to succeed University degree (M.Sc. / B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a global organization Interdisciplinary understanding and engineering design principles Proficient in AutoCAD and E3 software English language - both verbal and written, technical understanding Analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and in teams with attention to detail and safety Committed to continuous improvement You will be part ofBy joining MacGregor, you will be able to work closely with leading industry professionals, developing and implementing new concepts that set the standards in the maritime transportation and offshore industries.
