Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Project Manager to expand our Electrical practice in Fort Worth, Texas (TX)!
Responsibilities Lead the design and analysis of complex electrical systems for renewable generation, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, transportation, aviation, and industrial projectsResponsible for the review and development of design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics and block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one-line diagramsDaily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams, with interaction across Kimley-Horn officesPrepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals, supporting the growth of electrical engineering service areas in the lcoal market and across the countryLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principalsProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading an Electrical practiceOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership Qualifications 10+ years of relevant experience managing Electrical projectsRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseFirm understanding of the National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, IEEE and ANSI Standards
Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
Ability to manage and mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
