Join ENERCON as a Senior Electrical Engineer where you'll coordinate with diverse teams, review designs, and drive technical excellence. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on an innovative team to lead and design power systems at power-generating facilities.

Responsibilities

Our Energy Group is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Tampa, FL, Lake Mary, FL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Kennesaw GA, Chattanooga TN, or FT Worth TX locations.

Understand roles played by other disciplines on the project and is able to coordinate and interface with other engineering disciplinesParticipate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data prepared by other engineers or subcontractorsPrepare design studies and project scopesMake recommendations based on knowledge and experienceDirect and oversee routine and advanced technical work performed by others on assigned projects and maintains quality standards of all assigned projectsManage budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with the designated work assignment with minimal guidance and technical oversightPrepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications and can evaluate technical bids and select equipmentDevise new approaches to technical problemsBroad knowledge of precedents in the industry Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and Minimum 7 years of power system design experienceSKM and/or ETAP experienceProtection and controls experienceExperience in electrical codes, standards, and criteria for power systemsProficient in Word and ExcelGood writing, presentation, and communication skillsAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teamsWilling to travel 10%-15% and participate in field installation, checkout, and start-upAbility to climb stairs or ladders at client sites Experience with lighting studies, lightning protection, and grounding design preferred
