What We Expect:
Perform complex experiments that may require support and coordination of other engineers or technicians. Active participant in R&D projects, providing design input and ensuring projects can be translated into cost-effective production. Support R&D in marking cost estimated for equipment, tools and components. Responsible for the manufacture and performance of assigned product line (s). Responsible for setting up fabrication and assembly procedures to manufacture products. Establishes methods and tooling needed for new and existing processes. Assists in the design of tooling and fixtures. Initiate and/or approve necessary changes in design, drafting, tooling, methods, processes and documentation that affects the manufacturing process. Oversee the creation and revision of standard operation procedures, organizational standards, directives pertaining to scheduling, cost control and production performance evaluation. Develop, verifies and validates processes for manufacturing. Responsible for the maintenance of production equipment and works with Facilities on the implementation of predictive maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
5+ Years of Experience designing PCB in a regulated environment Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer or related concentration
Skills
Experience with FPGA design Understanding of electronic design, medical device design, analog/digital circuit design, PCB design, software, optics and human factors Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout programs Knowledge of IEC 60601-1 and 60601-2 technical standards Advanced knowledge of MS Office Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Advanced ability to read, interpret and create drawings Working knowledge of manufacturing, quality improvement and cost reduction methodologies such as Lean, Root Cause and Root Cause Failure Analysis, TQM, SPC, Six Sigma Ability to develop and lead corrective action plans Ability to be a high performing team member Ability to work independently Automation experience, such as implementation of an automated cell/lineBeneficial
Experience in an FDA regulated medical device industry Ability to lead and motivate teams Management and leadership skills Experience in rapid scale up of new products or operations Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

The annualized base salary range for this role is $94,00 - $146,900 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
