Job Title: Sr Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Perform electrical design, coordination, and potentially project management for various large projects (USPS, Amazon, and public sector projects) across the Midwest, Northeast, and possibly Southeast US. Establish design direction, develop technical drawings and specifications, and manage project schedules and budgets. Conduct complex feasibility and operating studies to evaluate alternative systems and methods. Maintain client relationships and oversee quality control for assigned projects. Assist in business development and proposal preparation for new locations. Prepare proposals, contracts, correspondence, and project documentation. Travel to job sites, primarily in the Midwest, with potential travel to NE and SE regions, up to 25% of the time. Use Revit for design. Candidates can work out of any Midwest office, or the Florida office, or remotely if they have a PE license and are not near an office. Meet cost and time schedules while producing quality results.

Work Site

This is a fully remote position.

Work Environment

Main Michigan office located in Downtown Detroit. Candidates can work out of any Midwest office, or the Florida office, or fully remote if they have a PE license. Core hours are 8am-4pm M-F, with flexibility. The VP oversees the MW region for the Architectural and MEP Dept, working primarily from the Lansing office but visits Detroit office 2 days/week.
