We have a challenging and highly rewarding opportunity for a motivated Electrical Engineer to help grow our expanding MEP team in our Tampa office.
ResponsibilitiesThis position provides an opportunity to work on a variety of building, aviation, transportation, and mission-critical projects that will ensure your success and growth in your career. Additionally, you will contribute to the design of major projects from various markets locally and around the country.
Design of electrical systems including low and medium voltage power distribution, stand-by generation, interior/exterior lighting for buildings, local area IT networks, access control, security, and fire alarm systemsParticipate on project teams in an active production rolePreparation of project specificationsPreparation of electrical construction cost estimatesDaily interaction and collaboration on cross-functional teams across multiple disciplinesCoordination and verification of as-built drawingsPerform quality work that promotes client retentionResponsible for the development of reports and design documents, including electrical floor plans, equipment schematic diagrams, equipment block diagrams, equipment load calculations, and connection diagrams Qualifications 5+ years of experience in electrical engineeringBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (advanced degrees are a plus)Professional Engineer license preferred Firm understanding of the National Electrical Code, other NFPA codes/standards, and energy codesProficiency using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (AutoCAD)Building Information Modeling (BIM – Autodesk Revit) experience is a plusElectrical power, lighting, and fire alarm design experienceSuperior verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to work independently or in a team environment effectivelyThe ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environmentOptions Apply NowApplyShareShare this job with a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
