Senior Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dallas-Ft. Worth metro, Houston or Austin areas. This opportunity is a great fit for someone who likes to work hands-on with projects from beginning to end, enjoys working with and being supported by a team of Electrical professionals, and is comfortable mentoring early-in-career Electrical Engineers and staff.
With Water and Wastewater projects comprising a significant portion of our project work, we need someone who is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in planning and designing electrical systems including at least 5 years of experience with electrical systems for municipal water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, lift stations, and pipeline distribution and collection systems.
The Sr. Electrical Engineer:
+ provides electrical engineering design and leadership to guide the engineering deliverables and electrical project management for a variety of Electrical project types including planning and designing electrical systems for:
+ municipal water and wastewater treatment plants and facilities
+ storm drainage systems
+ lighting
+ transportation
+ other public and private client projects
+ independently determines and develops approach to electrical design projects; generates a range of solutions to difficult technical problems
+ ensures engineering deliverables meet Quiddity's quality standards and client requirements
+ leads technical meetings and directs interdisciplinary coordination
+ maintains regular communication with project engineers/managers and provides support for client and stakeholder communications
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
+ Licensed Electrical or Control Systems Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas with or the ability to obtain or transfer within 6 months of hire date
+ Min. 10 years of experience in the electrical engineering field - including 5 years working with municipal water and wastewater systems
+ Valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record
+ Experience with power distribution is a bonus
