The Opportunity

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll lead the design of cutting-edge electrical systems, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with a diverse team of experts. As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Arup, you will:
Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for complex projects across various sectors, including mission-critical, healthcare, commercial, industrial, and educational. Develop innovative and sustainable electrical solutions, incorporating the latest technologies and industry best practices. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing. Coordinate with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical design within the overall project. Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring successful project delivery.

We're looking for someone passionate about sustainable building design and innovative electrical engineering. We also value:
Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering 5+ years of post-qualification design experience in a consultancy environment Experience leading design teams and mentoring junior engineers In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, including Dutch codes (preferred) Proficiency in industry-standard electrical design software (e.g., Revit, Dialux, Amtech) Experience in science, industry and technology (SIT) projects
