Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Responsibilities
+ Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors.
+ Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
+ Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.
+ Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
+ Perform detailed analyses to assess designs' or applications' feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements.
+ Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
+ Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
+ Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations to the maintenance crew.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, and other engineering design software.
+ Electrical design experience from scratch, with everything custom designed per client.
+ Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector, focusing on magnetic components.
+ Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
+ Experience within a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to provide input on projects and be creative.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69
