Senior Electrical Engineer
Description Engineering of industrial manufacturing equipment including electrical system design, PLC/HMI programming, project management, and manufacturing support. Reports to the Engineering Manager. Daily duties: • Create electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical • Assemble electrical system bill of materials • Develop and implement control programs for industrial PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs • Meet established deadlines through successful project management and scheduling • Support customers with machine troubleshooting • Manage electrical department of 7 electricians, fabricators, and panel builders • Collaborate with mechanical engineering team on design of machine functions and operations • Support research and development projects • Limited travel for installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer facilities Skills 3D Modeling, AutoCAD, Research and Development, Bill of Materials, Engineering of Industrial manufacturing equipment, design, Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric Controls Systems, Panel Layout, plc programming, hmi programming, program management, BOM, product design, mechanical engineering, mechanical design Top Skills Details 3D Modeling, AutoCAD, Research and Development, Bill of Materials, Engineering of Industrial manufacturing equipment,design,Allen Bradley,Schneider Electric Controls Systems,Panel Layout,plc programming,hmi programming Additional Skills & Qualifications • Programming experience with Allen Bradley and Schneider Electric control systems and software • 2+ years experience designing electrical power and control systems • Experience with AutoCad preferred Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00 Viking offers a competitive salary along with a housing down payment within the Rosehill School district.
