In this role, you will:
Provide guidance in the design, development and operation of manufacturing and supporting processes.
Provide Electrical Engineering support on resolution of process and equipment problems.Provide guidance on process and qualification trials.Initiate, design and develop improvements to the manufacturing processes.Assist in managing the team’s maintenance and operating supply budget.Participate in on-going cost reduction programs.Element/Standard owner for the Mill Safe Electrical Work Practices Program which includes training personnel, program audits, continuous improvement and recordkeeping. Responsible for the Mill Power Distribution System. Leads all mill outages for preventative maintenance. Ensures compliance with all standards for electrical preventative maintenance intervals and recommendations.Provide coaching and development to process and reliability technicians.Provide support, and implement, safety improvement initiatives.Promotes and participates in mill loss control management by utilizing Modern Safety Management Principles, World Class Manufacturing Principles, and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.Comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations as defined by mill policies, procedures, employee training, and site subject matter experts. This person is the site process controls expert for the boiler operation.Improve process capability to deliver a reduction in defects and variability. Identify, develop, and implement products, processes, materials, systems, and procedures to achieve business objectives and adhere to federal regulations. Specification owner and manager for manufacturing asset.Provide leadership in a way that helps the organization attract, develop, and retain the best people and fosters an environment which motivates a diverse team to fully use its capabilities in achieving desired business results.Lead the initiation, design and development of manufacturing and supporting processes to achieve unit objectives.Develop knowledge and skills to be recognized for expertise and guidance in application of engineering and maintenance principles. Be the recognized authority for all equipment related projects associated with HYDROKNIT® Nonwoven Fabric manufacturing.Provide guidance in security and documentation to ensure the retrieval of data and protection of proprietary information.Seek, recognize, define and solve problems/opportunities to achieve unit objectives.Lead assigned projects/tasks to meet unit objectives within applicable corporate policies. Place emphasis on CFI and Internal Control.Communicate fully with supervisors, subordinates and others. Be informative without being obtrusive or vexatious. Communicate in a way that is timely, yet prompt; complete, yet concise; candid, yet accurate; and clear, yet responsive.Assist in the development of others around incumbent's expertise.Lead specific mill customer partnerships, responsible for being the mill contact and also liaison between Business Unit(s) and the customer.Develops specific action plans for critical work, adheres to the plan, anticipates problems and makes appropriate modifications to the plan as necessary. Salary Range: 105,750 - $130,600
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role’s country only. Kimberly-Clark will not provide relocation support for this role.
