Job Description: Electrical Engineer 4 Location: Onsite, Redmond, WA Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week Pay Range: $45/hr. - $50/hr. Duration: 6 – 18 months Summary The Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, and systems. This position involves hands-on work in a lab environment, along with technical documentation and analysis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Top 3 Required Skills and Experience 1. Lab Equipment Expertise: Familiarity with power supplies, oscilloscopes, and basic lab equipment. | 8+ years 2. Soldering Skills: Extensive experience in performing reworks and soldering. | 8+ years 3. Technical Documentation: Proficient in writing detailed and accurate test reports. | 8+ years Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and test electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting systems. • Evaluate design models for cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety. • Estimate project timelines and costs. • Simulate and test the operation of machines, structures, and systems. • Conduct research and comparisons of vendors' and competitors' products. Required Skills • Strong creativity, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Detail-oriented team player with basic leadership and mentoring capabilities. • Proficiency in creating sketches, engineering drawings, and performing computations. • Advanced ability to perform calculations for manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications. • Hands-on experience applying electrical theory principles to engineering projects. • Familiarity with computer applications and engineering-related design software. Education and Experience • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical preferred). • Experience: 8-10 years of experience in a relevant role.
