Senior Electrical Engineer
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be in charge of making sure that electronic devices work well together and don't interfere with each other. You will plan, integrate, verify, and validate systems, considering cost and risk. You will analyze systems at all stages, from concept to disposal, ensuring customer requirements are met within technical, schedule, and cost constraints. What You'll Do: + Check Requirements: Make sure the electronic devices meet certain standards and break down system requirements into smaller parts. + Present Findings: Prepare and present information at different stages of the project. + Create Plans: Develop plans and reports for controlling and testing electronic interference. + Support Tests: Help with tests in the lab and fix any issues that come up. + Analyze Designs: Verify and document design results. + Perform Analyses: Analyze how radio frequencies interact and document the results. Who You Are: You understand how different parts of a system work together. Basic Qualifications: + Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance + Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of professional experience. + 4-8 years’ experience in the EACH of the following: + EMI Design Experience: Experience in grounding, filtering, and shielding to control electronic interference. + Knowledge: Strong knowledge of specific military standards (MIL-STD-461F/G, MIL-STD-464C/D). + Analysis Experience: Experience performing electronic interference analysis. Desired Skills: + Active Secret Clearance + Multi-Project Support: Ability to support multiple projects in a dynamic environment. + EMI Testing: Experience with electronic interference testing. Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role .
